You will have the following qualifications & experience - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (or a related discipline) - Proven experience in EC&I engineering within a high-hazard chemical, petrochemical, or similar industrial environment.

You will ensure design deliverables meet safety, quality, and industry standards, provide technical guidance, and mentor a team of engineers, CAD technicians, and graduates.

You will work on projects under AMP8, including;Design of water retaining structuresFoundations and structural works for water treatment equipmentRetaining wall designs for sewage treatment works upgrades

You will conduct strength, fatigue (low‐cycle and high‐cycle), creep and defect tolerance assessments of safety‐critical parts using Finite‐Element Analysis (FEA).

You will support clients in the design, operational troubleshooting, and life‐extension of nuclear assets.

You will provide expert advice, undertake surveys and inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Remote working including site visits.

You will have very strong Agile delivery and project governance experience.

You will have good commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder managements skills with demonstrable experience in driving business value. Sector experience is open, but ideally you will have been exposed to a variety of sectors such as FMCG, Healthcare, Energy, Telco, Manufacturing etc.

You will take full ownership of early-stage projects across RIBA Stages 0 to 3, working directly with clients and acting as a senior technical and design authority.

You will work as an extension of the client team, representing their interests rather than purely delivering traditional consultant packages….

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate data processing and efficient document management, supporting the wider pensions administration team during a busy period.
