You will work closely with designers, artists, and engineers to build robust, scalable gameplay systems and mechanics. What we are looking for - Proven experience developing gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 - Strong C++ and Blueprint experience - Solid understanding of gameplay architecture and performance considerations

You will develop and implement best-practice software development methodologies and processes, manage a geographically distributed team (currently based in the UK and Italy), and ensure that development efforts align with the group's overall business objectives.

You will support the development of best practice across HR Wallingford via an established software development Community of Practice.

You will be qualified to HNC level or higher in an Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering discipline, however proven industry experience backed up by a recognised engineering apprenticeship will be considered.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a track record of accomplishing your objectives, working proactively, and managing your own time effectively.

You will play a key role in the design and delivery of projects, working closely with architects, clients and contractors in a collaborative studio environment. The practice encourages engineers to broaden their experience across multiple sectors, supported by clear progression routes and close mentorship from senior staff.
