Study Skills Support Tutor jobs in Yeovil

You will spend one day a week on a placement with a local Nursery where you get the opportunity to test your practical skills and begin to form relationships with what will hopefully become the setting for your Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. All taught sessions will be online, and you will need to attend an in-person First Aid training day.

You will manage and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of priority sectors and skills shortages, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to respond to emerging trends and government policies.

You will also contribute to the College's strategic aims, promote equality and diversity, and work with local businesses to inform and shape curriculum developments.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work flexibly in relation to the tasks undertaken.

You will be a part of a dedicated team of professionals who will offer you clear guidance and mentor you in to this role. - Supportive management and senior leads.

You will combine your time between Yeovil College and work placements at Leonardo Helicopters, increasing your work placements as you move through the years. Throughout the apprenticeship apprentices may be placed in some or all of the following departmental areas:

You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.

You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
