You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time.

You will also manage direct labour and any contractors whilst being based on site to ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.

You will be a key member of the design team responsible for the design function on live schemes. Managing and co-ordinating the design of a range of projects of varying complexity and value from tender stage through to the completion of construction stage design information.

You will take responsibility for the execution of the Quantity Surveying function on allocated contract/s, in order to fulfil the requirements of the Company in maximising quality of service and profitability.

You will provide a range of cost control and financial reporting duties across all aspects of construction work undertaken by the company.

You will take ownership of interim valuations, change assessments, detailed variation pricing, measurement, benchmarking, and commercial negotiations. The post holder is accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all M&E commercial outputs, including CVRs, variation logs, commercial trackers, risk registers, and final accounts.

You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors; negotiating the cost of variations including liaising between Buyers and Build Managers.

You will provide a full range of pricing information for purchaser’s extras * Immediately advise management of notification of impending claim or legal action arising from a disputed claim or payment from a Sub-Contractor/service provider.

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and liaise with the Bid Director (who leads the estimating function) to support the successful delivery of tenders and projects. Key Responsibilities
