You will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, manufacturable designs that meet both customer and internal specifications. This role involves full product lifecycle management — from initial concept and prototyping through to documentation, supplier engagement, and supporting production teams.

You will work closely with engineering, projects, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure all designs are fit-for-purpose, compliant, and optimised for efficient manufacture.

You will be an ambitious and technically capable Product Development Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical design.

You will work closely with a small, multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing team, developing deep expertise in workshop processes and key equipment while supporting the delivery of innovative engineering solutions. Development Engineer - key responsibilities: Mechanical Design - Supporting the development and refinement of mechanical designs with a strong focus on manufacturability.

You will shape how our engineers build, test, release, and monitor software, ensuring frictionless workflows while keeping ownership of business logic, test quality, and development practices firmly with the product engineering teams.
