Supplier Quality Engineer jobs in Trowbridge

You will monitor goods delivered from approved suppliers and against agreed specifications to meet the requirements of legislation, 3rd party standards, customers and the business. Support will be provided to maintain, deliver and develop related procedures, systems and supplier audits to ensure compliance with business and standards such as those required by the British Retail Consortium Group.

You will manage changes that enhance manufacturing quality and drive quality in line with our values and enabling strategic success. Regular site visits to the manufacturing facilities will be required for this role. The Quality Engineer will lead quality improvement activities and suggests innovative solutions to technical problems.

You will be primarily responsible for ensuring suppliers meet the quality standard required. The role is responsible for the selection and assessment of suppliers and for improving supplier performance & development by applying Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean and other quality methodologies.
