You will rotate around our material control teams gaining experience of the different work/projects specific to your department in Edinburgh

You will achieve this qualification through a combination of day release plus experience in the workplace.

You will also work towards an SVQ in Business Management which relates to your on site experience and an HNC in Business at Edinburgh College

You will be responsible for managing projects ranging in length from several weeks to many months and leading diverse teams of up to 6-8 consultants supported by sub-contractors and members of the client’s own staff.

You will deliver projects to agreed deadlines and budgets, although the focus of this role is employing complex analysis to solve client issues.

You will have excellent communication and strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire trust and commitment from others along with good influencing skills based on developed commercial acumen and a strong sense of professional integrity.

You will join a small team who works closely across business functions to facilitate procurement and supply chain best practice with a focus on partnering with suppliers to maximise on sustainable benefits.
