System Operator jobs in Southend-on-Sea

You will work closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and middle leaders to support informed decision-making, while delivering tailored training, user guidance and ongoing system support. Due to the nature of this role, an Enhanced DBS for the child workforce will be required.

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Thames Water’s Site SCADA systems (based on platforms such as AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, and Iconics), ensuring their security, resilience, and availability.

You will be responsible for monitoring BMS, FDD platforms, and IoT technologies, identifying inefficiencies, and carrying out first-line remote interventions. In addition, you will support site-based teams to ensure buildings continue to perform at their best, providing an exceptional standard of service delivery within a critical environment.
