A community health service organization in Bournemouth is seeking a Family Therapist to work in a high-intensity environment providing care for young people aged 13 to 18 with acute mental health challenges. You will work alongside a large clinical and support team and your role will include supporting timely discharge from hospitals, as well as occasionally supporting a Band 6 clinician to prevent an emergency admission.

You should have post-registration experience as a complementary therapist, ideally working in a healthcare setting.

You will also need to be able to travel across Dorset to see patients in their own homes. An Enhanced plus barred Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is required.

You will work as a dedicated member of a multi‐disciplinary team to provide systemic assessments and interventions for CYP/adults and their families across the Tier 4 service.

You will provide systemic psychotherapeutic programmes of intervention for families experiencing high levels of distress and acute care needs.
