You will have a proven track record of the design, development, integration and delivery of complex systems and the practical application of the Systems Engineering V-model throughout the project lifecycle.

You will build and manage supplier relationships (including new supplier onboarding), oversee order expediting and ensure that inventory and purchasing strategies align with operational readiness and cost control.

You will also provide guidance on all purchasing, stock control and logistics tasks to buyers/expeditors.

You will be confident leading category/commodity strategies and influencing total programme cost outcomes, with strong commercial acumen and a track record in supplier negotiation, cost leadership and contract management.

You will work across a variety of environments, from controlled laboratory tests to field-based evaluations, requiring strong practical problem-solving skills, data acquisition expertise, and adaptability.

You will have strong knowledge of instrumentation, test rigs, and data acquisition systems and the ability to translate requirements into test procedures and setups.
