Technical Claims Handler jobs in Bromley

You will handle a variety of claims including Commercial Motor, Property, Employers Liability, Motor, Household and Public Liability.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional advice service to clients regarding any claims issues, liaising with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process and effectively managing clients’ expectations.

You will be an experienced Claims Handler, with experience of dealing with Motor claims an essential requirement.

You will demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure the best outcome for your clients. - Ideally you will have experience of using Acturis previously.

You will be working closely with partners and other senior solicitors on a broad range of matters.

You will be expected to handle your own caseload from instruction through to resolution, with access to support where needed, and to contribute to business development initiatives.

You will be resolving issues in a timely manner and taking ownership of tasks allocated to you, escalating issues to 2nd and 3rd Line Support.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week.

You will do an 8-hour shift, start time is 7.30am with 45 minutes lunch break.

You will also be required to work an out of hours shift on a 1 week in 3 rota basis.

You will be representing DLG Legal Services in the conduct of client matters in providing legal advice and assistance in a professional manner, in accordance with internal procedures and acting as an ambassador to the organisation. What you will be doing
