You will act on behalf of the lenders, providing independent technical oversight of PFI assets within the healthcare and education sectors.

You will also participate in and deliver tool box talks and safety updates to staff. A knowledge of construction and experience in plumbing supervision is an essential requirement along with a knowledge of mechanical services and recognised plumbing qualifications.

You will have the opportunity to shadow experienced trainers in both classroom delivery and practical workshop tasks, ensuring you gain confidence, knowledge and hands-on experience before taking the lead. This structured support is designed to help you succeed and grow within this role.

You will be expected to develop towards a full Technical Superintendent position (after completing training/familiarisation period). Due to the requirements of the job, the successful candidate will be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of Glasgow. Applicants must hold the current, full and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.

You will spend the majority of your time at our welding and fabrication facility at Westway Business Park, mixed with occasional visits to South Rotunda. Flexibility of home working can be discussed at interview. You will work closely with the Estimating department through the bid to; Review tender bills, prelims, projects brief etc. to identify both risk and opportunity. Review of subcontractor and supplier enquiries. Engagement with key trades - develop relationships with supply chain.
