You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, with the skills to negotiate and influence key stakeholders. Professional membership of organisations such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent is advantageous.

You will move up pay brackets quickly if your work is of a high standard

You will work closely with the Estimating department through the bid to; Review tender bills, prelims, projects brief etc. to identify both risk and opportunity. Review of subcontractor and supplier enquiries. Engagement with key trades - develop relationships with supply chain.
