You will also be expected to cover weekend shifts as part of the 6 weekly rota – currently 1 weekend in 4/6 Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher BACP/UKCP Registration is essential; working towards accreditation is preferred – BACP Individual or Student Membership is not sufficient

You will provide immediate emotional support and guidance to callers on the 24/7 helpline – completing clinical assessments and signposting appropriately.

You will complete risk assessments and work in line with the BACP code of ethics – ensuring the highest level of service and support is provided to callers.
