You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team with 4 dedicated sub-teams, each led by a Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager. Duty Social Workers are on duty once every 4 weeks, responding to referrals, completing assessments, and ensuring that children's needs are met efficiently.

You must be over 22 years old and have the right to work in the UK. A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working within a children's/young adult setting. Knowledge in one of EBD, SEMH, CSE or SEN/SEND. A Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce is desirable.

You will take whole-case responsibility for complex Early Help cases (Levels 2–3), including those stepping down from Children’s Social Care, and work closely with families to reduce risk, build resilience, and improve outcomes.

You must be able to work flexibly and travel across the city as required.

You must have a child or child and adult enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
