You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of £12.30 - £12.60. Full, clean UK Driving License is essential. As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture as well as driving the van twice per week.

You will be required to work at the Macclesfield site, however, my client have sites in Alsager, Knutsford and Crewe so having access to your own transport will be beneficial to sometimes get extra shifts. With this being an ad hoc contract, there are no set shift patterns each week so flexibility and being able to work short notice shifts are essential to the role.

You will be trained how to drive safely around our warehouse, on our Mechanical Handling Equipment, called LLOPs. Once you know how to drive a LLOP, you will be trained on how to pick the product correctly for stores and ensure they are beautifully stacked on a pallet ready to go!

You must be self-motivated, can work at pace, and meet the required standards and targets.
