You will also handle your own portfolio of specialist buildings losses. Applicant Requirements

You will be responsible for a team of general commercial major loss adjusters and surveyors. Role will be generally split 80% fee-earning, 20% operational management and you will oversee every loss in excess of £75,000 that arises in the south of England.

You will also take a personal involvement in the handling of all losses in excess of £1 million and be active within client relationship work.

You will deal purely with mid and high net worth losses for a wide range of traditional insurers and Lloyd's Market principals. The position is home-based and our client is flexible to consider candidates living either north or south of the Thames. Applicant Requirements

You will be required to travel extensively throughout the South East, but the caseload is small and completely manageable.

You will have an ability to evidence technical excellence in the investigation and handling of cradle to grave and Delegated Authority instructions. A desire to accept responsibility and accountability for the conduct of allocated cases to conclusion, and a positive pro-active approach to service delivery.

You will be home-based and work alongside a team of commercial major loss specialists, but only be responsible for losses in the domestic, mid and high net worth markets. These requirements exist on a national basis so you can be accommodated wherever you live. Applicant Requirements

You will report to the Operations Director and oversee report writing, loss allocation, training, mentoring, recruitment, SLAs etc whilst handling a smaller caseload of the larger and more complex losses.

You will be given autonomy to handle those losses as you see fit supported by an excellent desk-based team. Your caseload will be no more than 60-70 losses thus enabling you to handle your portfolio in a thoroughly professional manner in a relatively pressure-free environment.

You will work from a home base and handle a quality portfolio of both high net worth and domestic major loss risks, providing a quality service for quality clients in this niche sector. Applicant Requirements
