Truck Operator jobs in Cornwall

You will be responsible for picking stock and operating pallet truck equipment. This role has a 40-hour working week, from Sunday to Thursday, and will require you to work bank holidays (if these occur within the fixed term). Normal working hours are 5pm until 1am. The fixed term contract offered starts immediately and ends 28th August 2025.

You will be delivering freight across the UK, often spending nights away in your vehicle.

You must hold a valid Class 1 license to operate articulated vehicles.

You must have valid documents confirming your eligibility.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

You will also carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa's operator's licence commitments.

You will be operating in and around the warehouse, stores and despatch areas, keeping lines running smoothly and will involve loading and unloading vehicles.

You must have a valid Counterbalance, Reach truck and Full UK driving licence- as you will be travelling on public roads.

You will be working two days per week between Monday to Friday (Days to be confirmed)with a 06:00 am start until finish.

You will be payed £12.94 per hour (weekly payed).
