You will lead on financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, oversee cash flow and statutory compliance, and provide clear, timely insight to support decision-making.

You will be strategic, highly analytical and detail-focused, while maintaining a clear view of the bigger picture.

You should have strong experience handling complex estates and trusts work, excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage your workload independently. A compassionate, professional approach to sensitive client matters is key.

You will be a qualified , qualified by experienced or part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) . Strong Management Accounts experience is essential . The role offers some hybrid working , 2 days at home, 3 in the office

You will also have good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet both client demands and financial and time recording targets. Previous Team Leader experience is advantageous but the leadership qualities we are seeking in candidates include creativity, innovation, decision-making, resilience, and critical thinking.

You will ensure a high-quality service to a range of clients whilst managing a team, inclusive of reviewing work, providing training and development in conjunction with our Talent Development Team, workforce planning, and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture, in line with RSM values.

You will work on a portfolio of different schemes ranging in size and type, although the team predominantly services Defined Benefit arrangements. Technical knowledge of cradle to grave pensions administration is required and an ability of understanding scheme rules and current legislation is welcomed.

You will work on all day-to-day activities, as well as supporting other members of the team.
