You will also contribute to the financial sustainability of the Trust by ensuring that opportunities are taken to maximise sales through an efficient and professional admission process leading to increased average admissions and secondary spends.

You will be used to delivering against a range of KPIs including financial and visitor satisfaction targets.

You will work in the centre’s Café (including the kitchen) and Gift Shop, serving guests and promoting sales and generating income.

You will also ensure all areas of the visitor centre are clean, tidy, and inviting.

You will welcome visitors, introduce them to the charity’s work, and encourage donations and participation in fundraising initiatives, including the Adoption Club.

You will be working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required to cover shifts.

You will be part of a supportive team doing all sorts of things – from security and searches at the gate, to managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV. It’s a varied and active job involving tasks which combine some desk duties with more physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and walking to escort vehicles across the prison grounds.
