You will be predominately based within our acute assessment wards at Glasgow Royal Infirmary (Gri) but may be asked to support other areas within our service. Our Team also covers frailty unit at Gri and the rehab wards and ARC at Lightburn and Stobhill Hospitals.

You will have an SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Experience working as a Physiotherapy and/or Occupational Therapy support worker would be desirable.

You will have good organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within the team.

You will also work independently to assess patients’ mobility, function and ability to carry out activities of daily living.

You will provide exercise programmes and facilitate discharge plans to ensure patients are achieving their rehabilitation goals.
