You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.

You will also be required to use a Toughbook/iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.

You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of refrigeration equipment. Additionally, you will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

You will have a substantial opportunity to contribute towards optioneering, outline, and detailed design expertise across various frameworks. Our scope of work encompasses a wide range of technically demanding projects in the field of Wastewater Infrastructure.

You will lead and develop a team, from within the Temporary Works CoE department, providing safe, practical and economical designs for internal clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with company procedures. You will also benefit from having: Knowledge of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 would be an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate. You will be responsible for leading on relevant Engineering and maintenance improvement initiatives by adding valuable insight and experience where appropriate and acting as the link between YW colleagues and your programme of work itself.

You will also benefit from having: - Experience in the water industry or similar utility

You will also benefit from having: - Ability to manage & prioritise workload whilst maintaining effective operational relationships. - Ability to work effectively with equipment manufacturers to identify shortfalls & propose enhancements. - Ability to understand risk issues on site as well as construction risks.

You will also benefit from having: Experience in managing third party consultants, required to support the delivery of complex commercial contract audits. Knowledge and understanding of commercial governance. Experience of implementing change initiatives and effectively working within a team to drive performance improvements.

You will also benefit from having: - Experience working in a regulated utility or major asset management / delivery with a wide ranging asset base - Previous experience in a commercially orientated and or regulated enviroment

You will demonstrate the ability to work hard as part of a wider team, solve problems and be thorough to deliver sustainable leakage reduction for Yorkshire Water. This will enable Yorkshire Water to hit challenging Leakage reduction targets.
