You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects from a projects inception, determining client briefs, to the delivery and close out of projects in accordance with best practice.

You will support the delivery of projects both technically as well as support junior colleagues throughout the delivery of projects, including client facing roles.

You will be responsible for leading on relevant Engineering and maintenance improvement initiatives by adding valuable insight and experience where appropriate and acting as the link between YW colleagues and your programme of work itself.

You will also benefit from having: - Experience in the water industry or similar utility

You will initially be focussed upon providing geotechnical services on our United Utilities frameworks.

You will also provide geotechnical design services for other water sector clients such as Severn Trent Water and Yorkshire Water and for our development clients such as Harworth Estates, Homes England and the MOD.

You will hold a degree in geology or similar.

You will have project management (PM) skills and experience to deliver a ground investigation project through the entire project life cycle (proposal, contract, implementation and close out).

You will take responsibility for deliverables, financial performance and client relationship management.

You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.
