Driver needed to operate a HGV for winter highway maintenance, starting October 2025. Standby pay is included.

You will be responsible for: Undertaking all aspects of highway maintenance works including but not limited to drainage, kerbing and other civils schemes. Responsible for leading a squad and working in close relation with other gangers. Completion of associated scheme records to a high quality such as daily site diaries and measurement records.

You must be able to operative an HGV vehicle safely, complete pre-use vehicle checks as well as well as accurately complete spreading rates.

You will need to be used to completing documentation on routes and usage.
