You will be responsible for working directly with young people as part of an existing Youth Justice team.

You should have experience of working with young people who offend and have knowledge of psychosocial and psychological interventions, Restorative Justice and experience of delivering group work programmes.

You will ensure that our children and young people are cared for in every aspect of their lives, including keeping them safe from harm, supporting education, cooking, cleaning, and participating in fun activities.

You will support our care teams across several homes in the same area.

You should be able to demonstrate high quality, person-centred care and excellent teamworking. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and is non-judgemental and compassionate.

You should have a keen interest in sexual health nursing and will be required to actively participate in personal development planning.

You will undertake face to face delivery of Youth Work, meeting the needs of young people.

You will be leading a youth work team to plan, deliver and evaluate programmes and activities using the Fife CLD Quality Framework.

You will be required to undertake Fife Council training to ensure you act in accordance with policy around Health & Safety, Child and Adult Protection and Data Protection.

You will have a knowledge and understanding of the importance of attachment, trauma and how this can impact on an individual’s development.

You will be skilled in building therapeutic relationships with the children, young people and young adults to enable them to feel safe, loved and cared for.
