You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping students manage behaviour, build confidence, and re-engage with learning. The role focuses on emotional regulation, motivation, and promoting positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom. Experience in mentoring, youth work, SEMH, or behaviour support is highly desirable.

You will use positive behaviour strategies, de-escalation techniques, and, where necessary, approved restraint/positive handling methods in line with school policies and training.

You will collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to ensure students are supported consistently and effectively.

You will be helping children access learning, communication, and emotional growth every single day.

You will be mentored by an in school therapist, with structured CPD and exposure to a range of therapeutic practices including communication support, sensory regulation, and behaviour development.
