You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting with the preparation and serving of lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

You will help our managers design and implement menus focused around utilising locally sourced and healthy ingredients, ensuring the service we deliver is nutritious. Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the highest standard

You will need to have a well-organised approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on your own. John Grooms Court, Norwich, is a residential home for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. This service provides 25 single-occupancy, self-contained flats plus two flats for two people.

You will have a secure understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements, and be able to implement methods to ensure these needs are met.

You will also have your Intermediate/Advanced Food Hygiene certificate, and a full understanding of H.

You will be responsible for ensuring this is adhered to, and all relevant documentation is completed.

You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them.
