You must hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent. This post is subject to a Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children. You will be required to carry out tasks and duties delegated by senior staff in an effective and efficient manner ensuring at all times the social and domestic care needs of service users.

You will work on your own supervising children brushing their teeth, but you will have regular contact with the NHS Orkney Oral Health Team.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

You will be required to carry out tasks and duties delegated by senior staff in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring at all times the social and domestic care needs of service users.

You must also register with the SSSC within 3 months of appointment. This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with protected adults.
