You will support adults with mental health needs by conducting home visits (driver essential), participating in the duty system during office hours, and applying Adult Protection training.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding protocols.

You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration. We have a legal obligation to ensure that we do not employ any worker who has not been granted the relevant permission to work in the UK.

You will facilitate client participation in community activities and educational opportunities while strictly adhering to all safeguarding policies and professional protocols. Essential attributes for this position include reliability, flexibility, and a deep understanding of ethical care practices.

You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative clinical style will be essential.

You will also be responsible for making recommendations to facilitate safe and independent living.

You will be part of a dedicated Occupational Therapy MH service lead by a Team Lead and Band 6/5 staff.
