You will also assist the Extra Care Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring an empowering service which meets the needs of our clients and works with the service user’s families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere.

You must be flexible, energetic and reliable.

You will be required to work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings, weekends.

You must be able to engage positively with service users based at our Bromley service and their families to build trusting relationships. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to provide respectful personalised care.

You will be paid weekly.

You will be providing personalised care and support to older adults who may have a learning disability and/or mental health needs. Our support workers work in the principle of Creative Support and promote active and independent lifestyles for the adults we support.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to provide respectful personal care.

You will need to demonstrate a reasonable standard of verbal and written English and be able to contribute to recording systems.

You must be reliable and able to be vigilant and responsive to emergencies and urgent needs as they arise.

You must also be able to carry out the physical demands of the role which includes supporting people with moving and positioning.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.

You will have well-honed skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for our all our service users.
