You will play a key part in the end-to-end handling of public liability claims. Your responsibilities will include: - Processing and investigating claims and making informed decisions on liability - Monitoring claims from initial receipt through to resolution - Liaising with internal Council service departments to gather and prepare evidence

You will deal with new business enquiries and insurancerenewals and provide a first class service to clients throughoutthe policy lifecycle.

You will handle day to day queries fromclients and act as point of contact and build and maintainrelationships with clients and insurers.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and products across the site, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal processes.

You will ensure claims are processed in compliance with internal and regulatory standards while communicating effectively with customers and third parties. Ideal candidates have prior experience in claims handling or customer service, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

You will join a busy and vibrant claims handling team where you will manage your own caseload of new and existing property claims. As a Property Claims Handler you will: Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with incoming electronic instructions. Liaise with customers, clients, insurers via the telephone, email and in writing.

You will play a key part in the end‑to‑end handling of public liability claims.

You will be handling all aspects of the accounts through renewals, adjustments, queries and any other issues that may arise.

You will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of classes of commercial business including Property, Liability, Combined, Package, Fleet and Trade amongst others.
