You will join a small - mid size clinical trial supply business who are growing day by day, securing new deals and strengthening relationships. That means a lot of growth, starting with the procurement team. They are seeking a confident director of procurement coming with strong experience of sourcing comparators.

You will take full ownership of procurement, supplier management, and warehouse operations, ensuring materials are sourced competitively, accurately prepared, and available when required.

You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive value and efficiency across our global manufacturing and distribution operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the procurement category for chemicals, lubricants, and oils. Negotiate complex contracts independently with suppliers and trading partners.

You will identify, source, and build strong working relationships with reliable suppliers, creating and maintaining a robust database of preferred vendors while ensuring key relationships are effectively managed.

You will also be expected to undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.

You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £48,000 per annum dependent upon your knowledge,skillsand experience. Our Hub, Home, Roam approach allows you to work from wherever suits you best whilst also having a central workspace to collaborate and come together.
