Care Assistants needed to provide personal care, companionship, and support to clients in their homes, including medication support, meal preparation, and household tasks.

You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life. What we're looking for: A genuine passion for supporting others. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

You will report to the Senior Support worker, working in a small team to provide practical support, you will build on Service Users existing skills and abilities whilst respecting their individual needs and choices.

You will be using IT to update documents such as support plans, risk assessments and will have a good working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and assessments of capacity.

You will encourage new experiences, supporting the young people to develop their own identity. You'll be patient, thrive in a team environment, able to support those around you and have the emotional intelligence and resilience to manage challenging situations.

You will need to successfully complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare before you complete 24 months of starting work.
