You will previously have worked as a PLC programmer, automation engineer, controls engineer, industrial drives engineer, electrical design engineer, automation design engineer, EC&I engineer, production engineer or electrical engineer, along with experience in the below: - Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal, WinCC) – S7-1500/1200, Safety PLCs, Ladder Logic.

You will program, set, and operate CNC milling machines, read and interpret engineering drawings, and maintain accurate documentation while maximising material utilisation and adhering to strict quality and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for precision engineering to contribute to a high-performing team.

You will play a key role in introducing new and existing products into full-scale production, applying lean manufacturing principles to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions. Working closely with production, quality, and project teams, you’ll ensure components are delivered on time and within budget while driving continuous improvement across machining processes.

You will also have the chance to work in one of the most modern and cleanest factories in the area where people really enjoy their work.

You will be working on machinery that is being used to build Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units and other Electrification machinery.

You will be part of the growing world of electric cars and helping JLR to continue to grow in this area.
