You will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals in a variety of settings.

You will play a key role ensuring that individuals receive high standards of care and support to help maximise their independence and dignity throughout their lives.

You will deliver a range of community-based interventions such as family learning and adult learning opportunities working alongside families in a meaningful way, in line with current educational strategies.

You must have a CLD Standards Council approved professional qualification in Community Learning & Development.

You will be employed full-time as a dedicated team member, averaging 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours.

You will be based within one home on a full-time basis. However, you may occasionally be required to support other homes within the same geographical area.

You will receive 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (this will be pro-rata for part-time contracts)

You will step in where additional leadership, stability or guidance is needed, working closely with managers and teams to maintain high standards of care and support positive outcomes for older people.

You will be registered with the SSSC, or able to achieve and maintain registration, and be a member of the PVG Scheme or willing to complete the necessary checks.

You will work as part of the school team, directed by the Head Teacher to supervise children during meal times in the dining hall or other areas of the school, assisting with welfare and promoting positive conduct in line with Council policy and procedures.

You will also be responsible for cleaning tables and any spillages, ensuring the dining area is clean and tidy at all times.
