You will undertake a variety of assessments within the kinship pathway, requiring a positive attitude and a focus on quality and analytical practice to ensure safe placements within children’s networks.

You will prepare statements and represent clients in court, working within legislative frameworks.

You will assess risk and need in complex cases, conduct safeguarding investigations, and maintain updated care plans.

You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence.

You will manage a caseload, providing timely and effective support for each patient.

You will carry out Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions as required.

You must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.

You will assess individuals’ capacity to make decisions and conduct Best Interests assessments when necessary under the Mental Capacity Act.

You will complete Continuing Healthcare (CHC) checklists to determine eligibility for NHS continuing healthcare funding.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive care and support.

You will also complete Child and Family assessments and have experience working with Section 47 enquiries.
