Software Tester jobs in Scotland

You will be the human intelligence guiding the AI tools, ensuring that our platform is robust, bug-free, and user-friendly.

You should be comfortable recording tests (Codegen), reading the resulting TypeScript/JavaScript, and using AI to tweak it.

You will manually test new features with a critical eye, looking for UX quirks, logic gaps, and edge cases that scripts can't catch.

You will actively seek out new ways to do things and constantly be looking to improve the way we work. Your own learning will be a key motivator for you, and will be able to shape this role based on your own knowledge, experience, and tenacity.

You will have a passion for exploring new technologies and utilise your findings to create value in the test space.

You will set and communicate a compelling software technology vision and strategy aligned with Optos’ business objectives as well as bring extensive technical leadership and management experience from software environments—ideally medical devices, instrumentation, or regulated domains.
