You will act as a consultant to local businesses, advising them on waste management solutions, recycling, and their legal responsibilities.

You should be a "people person" with the ability to turn technical pitches into successful sales while maintaining a professional and credible image for the Council.

You will be responsible for delivering high-value tax advisory services, with a focus on corporate reorganisations and structuring projects.

You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and grow the tax advisory offering, while also mentoring and developing junior team members.

You will report directly to the Commercial Lead, in a team responsible for over £1bn of spend over the next two years, across multiple geographies.

You will be the key commercial point of contact for our projects once in contract.

You will actually be building and operating the renewable infrastructure we need to reach net zero.

You will deliver the reimagining of customer journeys in line with the strategic vision, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and digitally enabled experiences.

You will also stay ahead of emerging customer experience trends and technologies, integrating these into journey strategies, while fostering a culture of experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement.

You will lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic support for the business. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeliver accurate and timely management information, including quarterly accounts and monthly financial reports (budgets, cash flow forecasts) to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Leadership Team.

You will be part of the Strategy & Analysis and reporting into our Head of Strategy & Analysis (Alexa), though this role is highly cross-functional and on a day-to-day basis you will be working across all areas of the business.
