You will work closely with class teachers to deliver planned lessons, cover classes when required, and provide targeted support to pupils to help them reach their full potential. This role is ideal for an HLTA who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being a key part of a collaborative school team.

You will be responsible for proactive and reactive tasks, including electrical PPM, HVAC, and basic fabric maintenance. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under strict health and safety procedures.

You will also liaise with clients, monitor contractors, and ensure all work meets contractual and company standards.

You will work closely with senior leaders, contractors and clients to embed a proactive safety culture, manage risk effectively and ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Director of Health, Safety & Environment, this is a visible, field-based role with real influence across day-to-day operations and longer-term improvement activity.

You will work closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviour, low confidence or barriers to learning, supporting them both inside and outside the classroom. Working alongside class teachers and pastoral staff, you will help create a safe, supportive and consistent environment.
