Youth Development Worker jobs in Edinburgh

You will be an experienced and motivated professional, educated to SCQF Level 7 (HNC or equivalent), with a strong background in youth work.

You will hold (or be willing to work towards) an SCQF Assessor and Verifier qualification (LD9–LD11) and have experience of creating and delivering effective training to both young people and adults.

You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.

You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.

You will work with young people to build confidence, reduce risks of harm, and promote positive outcomes in learning, life, and work.

You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 in Community Learning and Development or an equivalent discipline, and/or accredited training appropriate to the learning programme being delivered.
