You will prepare quarterly VAT returns, monitor funds, raise payments, along with assisting in any ad-hoc projects/duties.

You will be a self-starter who is a team player, but also able to act on your own initiative, used to managing workloads to meet deadlines with a positive and proactive mind-set.

You will supervise & develop a small cost/stock accounting team, along with supporting ad-hoc projects.

You will manage/develop a small UK cost/stock team to ensure their development & support, providementary at month-end for manufacturing variances, update labour rates on costs & production volumes, improve stock management processes & stock analysis.

You will process prepayments, accruals, journals, along with maintaining the fixed asset register.

You will be responsible for stock control processes, controlling costs, working with budget holders & business partnering to drive efficiencies across the business.

You will befortable with financial systems with key MS Excel skills, a self-starter with good problem-solving abilities.

You will supervise & develop a small cost/stock accounting team, along with supporting ad-hoc projects.

You will manage/develop a small UK cost/stock team to ensure their development & support, provide commentary at month-end for manufacturing variances, update labour rates on costs & production volumes, improve stock management processes & stock analysis.

You will support forecasting reviews, review overheads monthly with stakeholders across the group, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives/projects.

You will support the balance sheet review process, audit preparation, support strengthening financial controls, highlighting key emerging risks/opportunities.
