You will also be involved in implementing the County Council's unauthorised encampment policy and assisting with other property management and estates issues within the team. The role is varied and includes:

You will organise and facilitate organisational and operational debriefs, producing subsequent reports to ensure learning is captured, recommendations are actioned and embedded and that the LRF continually improves.

You will also help assess the recommendations and findings from relevant inquiries and bring these into the Partnership.

You will build sustainable relationships with them and plan for their permanence.

You will be responsible for ensuring their safety and support them towards independence.

You will be supported in this challenging role with regular supervision and consultations with our Mental Health Focussed Social Worker.

You will be responsible for overseeing, delivering and leading Short Breaks Club sessions for children and young people who have a disability or additional needs, and to ensure that all safeguarding, regulator and health & safety requirements are being met.

You will work closely with the child's Social Worker and the Fostering service (and other services as appropriate) to ensure coordination of care and support.

You will work in Foster Carers' homes and in either our office in Woking or Reigate although you may, from time to time, be asked to assist in other areas.

You will use your passionate approach to drive forward improvement and your effective organisational skills to ensure the service you deliver is always the best it can be. By working in close collaboration with children's Social Care, Health, parents/carers and families, as well as schools, your impact will help us to achieve the best outcomes for the children we support.

You will be working 5 days per week (mornings and afternoons) during school term times.

You will be required to travel to the office where your team is based and within a geographical area to undertake direct work with children, young people and families, to attend meetings and training as required.
