You will be supporting a team of 2 buyers undertaking administration including chasing suppliers for updates on outstanding orders, updating company systems & spreadsheets on goods and parts coming in, updating internal departments on the status of orders in order to plan production.

You will carry out administration duties in a way that is friendly, efficient, professional and timely. There is plenty of variety as you will be greeting and escorting visitors, conducting viewings and handling telephone and email enquiries and correspondence.

You will have a proven background in transactional accounts including purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations; Keen to progress and develop experience, ideally studying AAT or a similar accounting qualification; Will have previous knowledge working in an industry sector such as developments or construction, highly advantageous.

You will receive hands-on training and ongoing support to help you progress into a buying role. What You'll Be Doing (with full training): - Assisting with the ordering of materials, products, and services - Raising and processing purchase orders accurately - Communicating with suppliers regarding prices, availability, and deliveries

You should be highly efficient and hard working. Experienced in computer programs including excel and an efficient typist.
